JTBC’s new Sat–Sun drama “서울 자가에 대기업 다니는 김 부장 이야기 (The Dream Life of Mr. Kim)” follows a veteran sales manager who thought he had life figured out—until a sudden fall from grace forces him to ask what really matters. Based on the hit novel/webtoon, the series premieres this fall and streams worldwide.

Plot: A middle-aged reset with bite
After 25 years climbing the ladder at a major conglomerate, Kim Nak-su is the model department head—Seoul apartment, steady promotions, a family he provides for. But when corporate tides turn, the once-unshakable “Mr. Kim” is sidelined and sent far from the center. The shake-up pushes him into a sometimes funny, sometimes bruising journey of self-discovery beyond job titles, paychecks, and property lines.
